Long Night's Moon Milk | A Cozy Winter Drink
Wind down and warm up with this ritual featuring Hygge Herbal Tea
There’s something about winter that asks us to soften. The nights stretch long, the air is cold, and the pace of the world quiets (even if our to-do lists don’t). Long Night’s Moon Milk is my way of remembering how to slow down on purpose: a warm mug made for evenings when you want to feel calm in your body and cozy in your soul.
This latte-style drink has only three ingredients—Hygge Herbal Tea, water, and milk—but something magical happens in the combination. Chamomile and lavender melt tension from the nervous system, rooibos brings grounding warmth, elderflower decreases inflammation and supports the immune response, and the whole blend settles into a soft hug. No sweetener needed. The botanicals already taste naturally sweet, comforting, & floral.
Think of this as a winter self-care ritual disguised as a drink: five quiet minutes while the kettle steams, a moment to inhale the aroma of the herbs, a deep breath before the first sip. It’s a cozy winter latte, a calming bedtime drink, a zero-proof evening treat, and a delicious reminder that delight doesn’t need to be complicated.
Make it exactly as written, or get creative. Add a sprinkle of cinnamon, frothy cream top, or drizzle in a bit of honey. This is your ritual, not a rulebook.
The longest nights of the year aren’t meant to be endured—they’re meant to be savored. Long Night’s Moon Milk is a simple an invitation to enjoy them a little more.
