Barrel Aged Aromatic Bitters were introduced on my birthday in June 2021 and are the first in my specialty bitters line up.
I created these bitters
in collaboration with Bull Run Distillery
with whiskey cocktails in mind.
I wanted a bright & sunny cocktail perfect for summer porch sipping. Whiskey + grapefruit cocktails have always be a fav and this combo does not disappoint.
Toranja West
Stir over ice
1 1/2 oz Bull Run Distillery 7 year Madeira cask finished Whiskey
1 1/2 oz fresh grapefruit juice
3/4 oz Lillet blanc
Pour into an ice filled rocks glass and top with
10-20 drops Barrel Aged Aromatic Bitters
Grapefruit sparkling water
Garnish with grapefruit peel and enjoy!
