Palmer In Bloom Low-Proof Summer Cocktail Recipe
A soft, citrus-kissed escape featuring Grey Lady Black Tea & a splash of Orange Bitters.
Some drinks just make you want to slow down. Palmer In Bloom is one of those—equal parts playful twist and pure summer nostalgia. Inspired by the classic Arnold Palmer but dressed up with floral notes and a hint of citrus bitters. This low-proof cocktail is made for porch swings, garden parties, or any sunny moment that deserves a little delight.
At its heart is our Grey Lady Black Tea, a gentle blend kissed with orange peel and lavender. Lightly floral, not too fussy, and perfect for iced tea season. Pair that with fresh lemonade, a splash of Pavan for a whisper of orange blossom, and a few dashes of Orange Bitters for a bright, grown up finish.
Whiskey is totally optional here. If you feel like leaning into a stronger sip, add a shot for a boozy twist—otherwise, Palmer In Bloom shines beautifully as a low-alcohol refresher. The bitters themselves carry a bit of alcohol, so this isn't quite a mocktail, but it's easygoing enough to sip on all afternoon.
What I love most about this recipe is how simple it is. Brew your tea ahead of time, grab your favorite lemonade or squeeze your own, and you're halfway to feeling like summer is exactly where you're meant to be. It's the kind of drink that asks you to pause for a second, take a deep breath, and maybe even put your phone down while you savor every floral, citrusy sip.
So go on—make one just for you, or mix up a pitcher to share with friends on a warm evening. However you pour it, Palmer In Bloom is here to remind you that slowing down is a pleasure worth savoring.
